- Jamey, lead vocals, guitar. Chris, guitar. Jeff, drums, backing vocals. Scott, temp. bassist.

How long have you guys been a band?
Jamey: What is it? Four years now? Four years.

How did you guys get started?
Jamey: We all went to the same church and we were in a band there for the church, so we kinda said "lets start our own thing" and we ended up having a band practice.

Who are some of your musicial influences?
Jamey: May
Chris: Acidity Burn
Jamey: Yeah, Acidity Burn, um, Edision Glass, Future Forestry... is that all?
Chris: I can't think of any as a band, I have personal influences...

I noticed you [Chris], were playing with your shoes off, is that just more comforable for you?
Chris: Yeah.
Jamey: We usually all play with our shoes off, I dont know why we didnt. Our socks get really dirty though.
Heartbeat Inc: So its kinda like your guys' trademark then?
Jamey: yeah!

Do you have any upcoming plans for the year 2008?
Jamey: Yeah we are going on tour this Spring with another band.
Heartbeat Inc: Is it just this general area or where are you guys going?
Jamey: We're going all over, we were going to go to Mississippi then to Seattle, its going to be a big circle.
Chris: A really weird circle.
Jeff: We also have a CD coming out this year.
Jamey: Oh yeah, we will have a new CD this summer.

Are guys are a Christian band?
Jamey: Yeah, but we dont want to be put in the category of just Christian, like we want to be main stream too.
Jeff: We're kinda like a rock band with a Christian vibe.

Why did you guys choose that genre?
Jamey: We all grew up in the church so its kinda part of who we are, it gives a positive message.
Jeff: Its a reflection of us and who we are.

Do you guys think that the show "american idol" is kinda cheating and unfair to all the bands and singers who spend a lot of effort trying to get into the business?
Jeff: Yeah kinda because its basically handed to them, I mean they have to audition but after that thats it.

Any last words?
Chris: like music because you like the music, don't judge a band because the genre.
